2025 October Mental Health Awareness Month Lectures
PSCAP was invited by partner schools to conduct learning sessions for parents and guardians on October 18, 2025 at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic School at the Old Sta. Mesa, Manila and on October 26, 2025, at the Jaime Cardinal Sin Learning Center, Punta Sta. Ana, Manila
Titled “Red Flags and Lifelines: Recognizing and Responding to Youth Suicide Risks,” the sessions were delivered by Dr. Stephanie Agustin and Dr. Nathalia Palma, respectively, both PSCAP members and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellows at the University of the Philippines-Philippine General Hospital (UP-PGH). The lecture aimed to equip parents and educators with practical knowledge to recognize early warning signs of suicide risk among young people and to respond with timely, informed, and compassionate support.
